How do I get certified for a module within Interact?
To earn a certification for a module, you need to pass its dedicated User course and certification exam. You can find courses for Interact's consoles and modules on the Academy's home page, or you can search for the course you’re interested in and get started!

What’s the difference between an Essentials course and a User course?
An Essentials course introduces you to a specific Interact solution and how it solves marketing challenges. A User course teaches you how to use a that Interact solution yourself, by taking you through the application’s various features and workflows.
Do I need to complete an Essentials course to start a User course?
Yes. Though you can go through Essentials courses as standalone activities, they’re also bundled into every User course. This is because the foundational knowledge provided by an Essentials course is necessary to understand the more complex processes detailed in its connected User course.

Do I need to be certified to use an application?
No. However, earning your certification in a specific Interact solution will empower you to make the most of the application and minimize any blockers while you use it. Studying for your certification builds your knowledge of an application’s interface, workflows, and functionalities. It also informs you of best practices, to help ensure that your output is of a consistently high standard.
Do I need to attend any live training to get certified?
No, all training events are completely optional. However, they offer plenty of unique insights into using Interact solutions, and can even be customized to address your specific needs, so they’re an excellent way to further your expertise.

For how long is my certification valid?
All product certifications are valid for two years from the date you first receive them. Following this, you'll need to revisit the product's User course to familiarize yourself with the latest updates made to the application. Once you complete the course, you'll be able to retake your certification exam and extend your certification.
